Log in faster with your fingerprint
What is it?
Secure single sign-on saves time and improves system security by giving you access to your favourite applications and websites using your fingerprint reader.
Swiping your fingerprint is faster than typing a username and password combination, and much more secure than having your browser remember passwords for you. It also allows you to use much longer passphrases.
How does it work?
- When you open an application or website that requires you to sign in, the Secure Single Sign-on icon will appear in the top left corner of the window.
- Click the play button
at the bottom right corner of the Secure Single Sign-on icon, and select Add (application/website) to Password Manager. - Then type in your sign in information in the Add Logon to Password Manager window. Repeat for each application and website you want to connect to your fingerprint.
From now on whenever you open a website or application that you have connected with your fingerprint, you can just swipe your fingerprint instead of typing in a username and password.
